Thank you for your interest in joining the Slow Spokes Leadership Team!
The Leadership Team currently consists of four members and we are looking to add two more. This team plans and facilitates Slow Spokes overnights, community events, and workshops, oversees four committees, and works as a team to uphold the mission of Slow Spokes in the Missoula community.
New team members will have a 6-month active probationary period, then meet with existing Leadership Team members to discuss future involvement.
The application will remain open until spots are filled.
To apply, an individual should:
believe in and represent the goals, mission, and values of Slow Spokes
have attended at least one Slow Spokes community event, overnight, or workshop
be actively involved (or excited to become actively involved) in the Slow Spokes community
enjoy working with all kinds of people
be available and in Missoula throughout most of the year
be excited about leading Slow Spokes community events, workshops, and overnights
The monthly expectations of a Leadership Team member are as follows:
- attend 1–2 two-hour team meeting(s)
- complete 10+ hours asynchronous work (fluctuates based on season)
- attend Slow Spokes events that you are facilitating
- Join and facilitate 1–2 Slow Spokes committees
