Weekly Schedule: 

1st class - Wednesday, September 4th 5-8 PM

Last class - Saturday June 14th 5-7 PM

Wednesdays 5-8 PM (group training w/ Candi) 

Saturdays 5-7 PM (group training w/ Candi + featured guest workshops)

Added extra class of your choice from the schedule (personal focused training) please let me know what you would like to focus on as your extra class of choice.

May 17th, 2025 - Alberta Rose Theatre - 2 shows 2pm & 6:30pm, Saturday

June 7th, 2025 - Afterglow Aerial Arts - Solo's Showcase

June 14th, 2025 - Afterglow Aerial Arts - Sleepover party!


The program includes:

+Wednesday 5-8 PM Aerial ensemble & team building w/ Coach Candi
+Saturdays 5-7 PM Sequencing & Act Creation w/ Coach Candi & special guest coaches
+1 secondary focus from our current schedule (of your choice)
+Make up missed classes in Open Gyms (send email to reserve spot each time)
+Basic fundamentals - rigging safety, contemporary dance, improv, floor & in the air choreography, active flexibility, technique and conditioning; mindfulness exercises, injury prevention, PLUS, special topics such as circus history, how to apply/audition for the big time circus & career management. 
+Costume & make up workshops 
+Professional photoshoot at Studio
+Professional video & photos of acts at Theatre
+Winter Showcase at Studio
+2 big shows at The Alberta Rose Theatre
+Solo's Show

This program is structured to provide an advanced level of training for individuals who are eager to take their skills to the next level, with a focus on becoming a professional circus artist.
The troupe receives professional caliber circus training. In addition to training their chosen apparatus at an advanced level, students continue enhancing their aerial, circus and performance skills solo and as a team. Our focus will be on technical development, character, act creation, movement quality, stage presence, and preparation for competitions and auditions.

Cost is $650 per month, due before the 15th of each month. (for 10 months, total cost $6,500) 

Cost for paying in 2 payments $3,085 ($6,170 in total)

Total early bird cost of program $5,950 (if paid in full)

*There is 1 discounted scholarship spot on the team, it can be applied for by a written essay stating why circus/aerial/acrobatics is important and beneficial to you. For scholarship application, email afterglowpdx@gmail.com with your letter.
