Passing on the Bournemouth Scene Baton
Dear Friends,

We believe that Bournemouth is a unique and vibrant place thanks to the hidden gems,
passionate people and inspiring projects all over the town. Bournemouth Scene is a non profit
company (limited by guarantee) that exists to celebrate the places that make Bournemouth
unique. It started with a physical map, and has lead to networking events, crowdfunding dinners,
online mapping and blogging. The Bournemouth Scene has been recognised locally for services to
the town and was a finalist in the Bournemouth Tourism Awards.

Bournemouth Scene has been a side hustle for all of us involved (Dan Butler, Daisy Carr and
Michael French) and has led us all on to developing other parts of our work. Now we have our
fingers in too many pies and we aren’t able to put in the time that the Bournemouth Scene Map
and Blog deserves. Rather than shut it all down, we want to find someone who can take the
Bournemouth Scene Map into its next chapter.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual, who loves Bournemouth as much as we do, to
take on the business of Bournemouth Scene and develop it within its community focused ethos.
By taking on Bournemouth Scene you will become a Director of Local Scene Ltd (Bournemouth
Scene by another name) and be able to take Bournemouth Scene in the direction you think best.

With an up to date map, 200 branded stickers in venues around the conurbation, social media
following of 2000 and a growing mailing list - Bournemouth scene is an established platform for
someone who is looking to get their teeth stuck into local mapping and storytelling ventures.

Does this make you feel tingly and excited? Tell us about yourself! We are keen to meet with people who express an interest in taking on The Bournemouth Scene over October and November, with a view to hand over in December-January.

We're looking forward to meeting you!

All the best,

Daisy, Dan and Michael
