Taylor Elementary School Before School Foreign Language Program, 2025/26 School Year

The Taylor PTA is pleased to again offer before-school foreign language classes for Taylor students. To signal your interest in enrolling your child in before-school Spanish, French, or Mandarin classes, please complete this form by Tuesday, September 30. 

Program details:

SCHEDULE

The language classes will consist of 40 sessions. Classes will begin the week of October 14 and meet twice a week (either T/Th or W/F, depending on the class and parent interest), from 7:50am until 8:30am. Students will be released to their classrooms at 8:40am. Classes conclude in mid-April 2026, with some variation based snow days or other unforeseen cancellations.

CLASS AVAILABILITY

This year, we are excited to offer advanced-level Spanish classes, in addition to French, and Mandarin. Classes will be confirmed only once they meet the required number of students. Please indicate your particular interest in Spanish - continuing student / intermediate or advanced (e.g. student can express themselves in Spanish and understand some conversational Spanish). We will do our best to offer differentiated Spanish classes, depending on family interest.

COST

Tuition for the 2025/26 school year is $820 ($20/class + $20 for instructional materials). Payment is due to Berlitz by Tuesday, October 15. A payment link will be supplied upon registration confirmation, and Berlitz can offer payment installations to spread out the cost over time.

CLASS SIZE

Class offerings are subject to a six student enrollment minimum. Class sizes vary, but tend not to exceed ten students.
