• Once a client is connected with a therapist, they will receive 8 weeks of short term therapy. 
• Clients will be assessed for their readiness to be in long-term therapy services based of off their attendance, engagement, and risk assessment. 
• Clients who have not demonstrated readiness to engage in regular sessions, make treatment goals, or develop a collaborative relationship with their therapist, will conclude treatment services after 8 weeks. 
• Some exceptions will be made for Clients who are having difficulty engaging in therapy but are screening positive for suicidal risk.

Two Feathers prioritizes youth on our waitlist by, but is not limited to:

• Looking at youths' readiness to engage for collaborative treatment with a therapist 
• Screening for risk factors and barriers in the youths lives during initial contact.
• If there is a current or ongoing crisis situation, suicide attempts, recent 5150 or hospitalization due to mental health concerns (within the last 6 months), or if they have been in a residential treatment facility (within the last 6 months).

1. If a current client moves from their primary location, they may be placed back on our waitlist and we cannot guarantee they will continue to meet with their current Clinician 
2. Wait times may vary depending on needs, location, barriers, and our clinical staff availability. We highly encourage placing additional referrals to other agencies and programs due to our high rates of referrals placed.
3. If concerns for the person being referred are more behavioral (examples: physical aggression, verbal aggression, eloping from home or school, not listening to directions, defiant behavior, etc.), we may not be the appropriate resource for the client at this time and will refer out as needed.
