The creators of Donut and Beer Fest are back with Michigan's sixth annual Taco & Tequila Festival. For the love of tacos, and a good time, Outlier Events and the Kalamazoo Growlers are hosting an event to highlight local food vendors for their unique take on the versatile taco along with tequila sampling, exotic mixed drinks, and festive entertainment including live music and taco judging contest.

Last year's event sold out in 3 weeks with 2,500 attendees! We're bringing in more vendors this year and extending the hours of the event for more sampling enjoyment!

We invite you to be part of the fun and join us as a taco vendor at the Taco & Tequila Festival!

How to participate:
-Register as a taco vendor on this page
-Serve up to 3 styles of taco (street taco sized) at the event and provide all necessary serving equipment
-Have representatives present at booth to prepare and serve tacos
-Attendees will give vendors 1 token for 1 taco at the event (hold on to these tokens! This is how you're paid)

Event will provide:

-$500 guarantee
-10x10 foot booth space (or space designated for food truck set up)
-Two (2) 6 ft. tables
-Payout of $1.50 per token for every token that vendor collects; to be paid after event

*MUST provide at least 1 item for 1 token. Allowed to provide additional items (side dishes, desserts, etc.) for additional tokens*
-Listing on website and in event day brochure
-Contest with awards for top 2 winning vendors
-Marketing and promotion of event through social media, radio, print, and grassroots

-Vendor receives 4 food tokens to sample at the event as well

Cooking on site - Those who plan on cooking on site must either be a registered food truck or complete a special temporary license from the health department.

Catering in - Those who cook at their restaurants and bring catered food to the event do not need any special license. You’re all set!
