  • Acceptance comes with the approval of the Outsiders Camp Board. 
  • Each candidate will be notified of the Board’s decision.

About Counselor in Training Academy
Half bootcamp, half training, all Christ Centered.  C.I.T. (counselor's in training) Academy is a place for 8th-12th graders to be trained how to prepare to be a counselor in the future for our kids camps. These weeks are full of fun and will equip our young leaders how to lead the next generation!  This application that MUST be completed before you can register for this program.  All accepted CIT's MUST be available for BOTH training academy and Kids Camp.

If selected, this person will be working directly with our staff to serve and lead the children who come to camp. Expectations
Applicants to C.I.T. Academy must: 

• Fill out the C.I.T Application Form and return it by May 16, 2025 
• Have your Lead Pastor or Youth Pastor fill out the Pastoral Recommendation Form and return it by May 15, 2024 - it is your responsibility to follow up on getting this paperwork filled out and returned. 
• Read and follow the C.I.T. Expectation Form 
• Be present and receptive to all training 
• Realize that C.I.T. Academy is preparation for Kids Camp 
• Leave boy/girl relationships behind for C.I.T Academy and Kids Camp 
• Attend Children’s Camp July 21-25, 2025 
• Be a positive role model for younger kids by showing the love of Jesus at all times 
• Follow the guidance/direction of your cabin counselor at Kids Camp with games, activities, and relationships 
•Be at all activities on time and have fun 
• Bring any concerns or issues to your cabin counselor
