For the first six week Family Workshop, we are pleased to team up with the Randolph Partnership for Children and provide resources in honor of our celebration of the upcoming "Week of the Young Child" event. Since various participating classes in early childcare centers throughout our community will be creating NC Zoo animal puppets as a group project, we will be assisting in the creation of a habitat display to "home" the NC Zoo animal puppets during the stage presentation at the end of the Children's Puppet Parade held in Bicentennial Park on Friday, April 12th.
We have our very talented Randolph County artist, Cara Bevan overseeing this project as we work together to craft mixed media landscapes of the North American and African habitats of our children's chosen animals.
For planning purposes, we would like to know which of the available dates you would like to come and get creative with us! You are welcome to attend as many classes as you like; there is no obligation to attend all classes in this program. We do hope you have so much fun that you want to come back for more! Any involvement is beneficial and appreciated.
Please fill out the form below to let us know when we can expect to see you and your family! If you do not know all of the dates you may be able to attend, you may register now for those you do and come back later to register as you wish.
Please note at least one adult is required to attend with a child. It does not have to be the same adult each day if you wish to come on multiple days.
