We continue to assess our procedures and protocols for this school year. Part of that re-evaluation is to continue to look for ways to limit the number of unnecessary interactions our students might encounter. One such opportunity is through study hall.

For this year only, the administration has developed a plan that will allow any Junior or Senior with a study hall on their schedule to leave campus during their study hall to return to their own place of residence with parent permission. The student will need to submit a signed parent permission electronic form that includes their mode of transportation (either their own vehicle or parent/guardian/family member pick up). Additionally, any student in grades 9-12  with a Block 1 study hall will be allowed to arrive at school at the end of Block 1, allowing adequate time to pass through the thermal scanner at the W6(west lobby) entrance.  Finally, any students in grades 9-12 with a Block 4 study hall will be allowed to leave school, via their own transportation, at the end of Block 3. Those with late lunch and a block 4 study hall will be able to leave during their lunch period.
Our intent is by providing this opportunity,  students can spend more time in their own home, which will be comforting to students and assist in meeting their social and emotional needs by reducing their stress and anxiety.
