Registration: Poverty Simulation Workshop (Salem)

LOCATION: Location: Center for Community Innovation (Green Room), 1255 Broadway NE Suite 110, Salem, OR 97301

PARKING: Free parking is available in the Salem Alliance Church parking lot directly behind the Northwest Hub, 1230 Broadway St NE. You can enter the parking lot from 5th St NE, or Market Street. The Center for Community Innovation is across the street from the Northwest Hub.

EVENT DESCRIPTION: The poverty simulation is a learning tool that will help you gain a better understanding of the daily realities of poverty. During the simulation, participants role-play the lives of people experiencing poverty. The simulation enables participants to look at poverty from a variety of angles and and then to recognize and discuss the potential for change within the community.
