This year both York Township and Valley City will host Memorial Day Services.  The band will perform the following selections:   Star Spangled Banner, Armed Forces March and An American Tribute.  The local VFW's will be present at both services.  Busing will be provided for both events.  The band will be wearing Orange Polos and Khaki Tan/Beige Shorts with Tennis Shoes.

#1. York Memorial Day Service - Sunday May 28, 2023.    

Stage Time at High School is 1:45 PM
Bus Departure at 2:00 PM
Parade Line up at 2:30 PM
Parade Starts to the York Cemetery 3:00 PM
Service lasts about 1 Hour.  
Bus Depart Back to High School 4:15 PM
Bus Arrives at BHS to go home at 4:45 PM

#2. Valley City Memorial Day Service - Monday May 29, 2023


Stage Time at High School 9:15 AM
Bus Departure at 9:30AM
Parade Line Up at 10:30 AM
Parade Starts to the Valley City  VFW Flag Pole  11:00 AM
Service lasts about 45 Minutes 
Bus departs back to the High School 11:50AM
Bus Arrives at BHS to go home at 12:15 PM

Students may be picked up after performances by Parent/Guardian only and must be signed out.  Students will ride the bus back to the high school and dismiss from the high school.  If students want to be dropped off at the event by their parent/Guardian only, they have to provide a written note to excuse riding the bus to Mr. King BEFORE the event.
