I understand that adopting a dog is a lifelong commitment and that I am responsible for providing proper care, training, exercise, routine veterinary care, food, shelter, and a safe and loving home for the lifetime of the dog. I understand that dogs require patience, time, financial responsibility, structure, and understanding as they adjust to a new environment and may need time to decompress. I understand there may be unexpected medical expenses that require continued care and commitment.
