Registration Form for Intergenerational Democracy Symposium - 10th December 2012, Lahore - Pakistan.
Youth Parliament of Pakistan is convening this symposium, as part of its Youth Action for Democracy initiative, with the support of United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF). This first of its kind event will be convened in Lahore to promote, consolidate and develop democratic attitudes in young people by giving them an opportunity to directly interact with human rights and pro-democracy veteran activists, who will share their lifelong achievements and challenges that they have had to face to work for promotion of democracy in the country. During the symposium the participants will discuss strategies and approaches in human rights and democratic citizenship education through non-formal learning and youth work and also how to continue the work within the framework of the government. Youth participants at the forum will explore ways and develop guidelines with other stakeholders to promote and advance their struggle for a truly democratic Pakistan.
