State of the Stats 2017
Welcome to the third annual State of the Stats survey! Every year I try to gather people's hopes, fears, bantz and snidery into one set of data to provide some insight into the health of the football analytics community.

This year has been an absolute bonanza of new content, not least because of the continuing generosity of StrataBet in providing their data to bloggers. This has led, among other things, to a booming Scottish analytics scene for what seems the first time, so this year I've added a few geographic questions into the mix. At the same time, some well loved and eminently scrapable apps and data sources have fallen by the wayside in the form of StatsZone and Squawka, so let's see what effect if any these changes have had on the landscape.

Thanks in advance for any time you can spend responding!
