YIDDISH CULTURE ON THE BALCONY with RABBI GELLER
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17th at 6:30 pm at TEMPLE AHAVAT ACHIM (86 Middle St, Gloucester)

The arrival in the United States of millions of Eastern European Jewish immigrants led to the re-creation on these shores of a vibrant Yiddish culture, rooted in their common language in the countries from which they had come. Music, theater and acculturation were the subjects they discussed and wrote about in Yiddish.

Refreshments will be served.

We will be indoors if it is cool or wet weather.
