Facility: Doubling Gap Ranch is over 325 Acres and boasts a large outdoor, a 100 x 200 indoor riding arena, skybox with a gourmet kitchen and indoor bathroom facilities. We are a working ranch with cattle, dogs, and versatile Arabian and Quarter horses. If you have specific questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
Accommodations:
Hotel Options: Doubling Gap Ranch LLC is located with 15 miles of Carlisle, or Shippensburg, both Pennsylvania cities have some great hotels and dining. Recommendations include the Fairfield Inn Carlisle or The Hampton Inn by Hilton in Carlisle.
Wilderness Cabin Options: Just a few miles away from Doubling Gap Ranch is Camp Yolijwa with Wilderness Cabins. Four cabins are available and will sleep up to ten people. Guests must bring their own twin or double size linens. Cabins have their own bathroom, dining room, kitchen and are heated/cooled. Cost is $90 per night for one, plus $15 for each additional person. Transportation:
All of the airports are outfitted with various car rental companies. We have also had pretty good experiences with Turo. If you need transportation and don't want to rent a car, let CJ know and she may be able to connect you with another party. We would be happy to transport you to and from the wilderness cabins, as they are very close to the ranch. Uber is somewhat sporadic when it comes to availability so we don't recommend it unless you book well ahead of time.
