Utah Climate Week 2019 - Restaurant Signup
Calling all dining establishments!
Please join us in participating in Utah Climate Week -- September 30 to October 6, 2019
Food choices directly impact our carbon footprints (comprising roughly 25% of a household’s carbon footprint!) Eating less meat and dairy can significantly lower that impact.
As a local restaurant or food purveyor, you can help bring awareness to climate change by supporting sustainable food choices in our communities and participating in Utah Climate Week.
Participating restaurants will receive a Utah Climate Week poster and materials for social media. We encourage you to display the poster and share the information on social media leading up to and during Utah Climate Week. After that it's up to you! Other optional ways to participate include:
• Highlighting plant-based, low-carbon menu items
• Featuring a new plant-based menu item specifically for Utah Climate Week
• Displaying other Utah Climate Week material in visible locations
• Hosting an event
• Using the opportunity to highlight your restaurant’s existing sustainability initiatives/partnerships or announce new ones.
