Alex is recruiting participants for his current study, which aims to explore how visually impaired children use their hands to explore and develop an understanding of physical programs.
If you teach visually impaired children aged between 7 and 11 in the London area we would be really interested in hearing from you.
Taking part will involve pairs of visually impaired learners taking part in a 1-hour workshop, which gives an introduction to coding using the Torino physical programming language.
The workshops would be video recorded to enable us to analyse how the children explore the programs. As the children would be taking part in a research study we would need to send you consent forms for parents and children to complete. If you are interested in taking part in this study, please complete this application form.
