2025 Anacostia Park - Park Care Days
Join Friends of Anacostia Park in supporting a clean and vibrant Park for all who visit! Our meeting point is the Anacostia Park Skating Pavilion, every 3rd Saturday of the month May - October. The event will run from 10 AM - 12 PM. Projects vary, all supplies are provided. Typical activities include trash and invasive species removal, mulching/watering trees, and beautifying the landscape.

Please bring a reusable water bottle for refilling at our cooler station. Fruit and granola bar breakfast snacks are offered. Wear appropriate layers to be working outside based on predicted weather patterns for the Park. This often includes a hat, light layer to cover up from sun, and other ways you find helpful to keep yourself cool.
