Online Community Committee:Purpose: Generate deeper discussions that will hopefully lead to action and increase engagement between current members. Initiatives: Blogs within online community, online community engagement, and webinars
Communications Committee:Purpose: Distribute updates and maintain the website and social media accounts to build our digital presence. Initiatives: Social media management, website building, and storing historical PLN data. .Partnerships Committee:Purpose: Build partnerships and strengthen network of support with the overall goal of increasing and sustaining our membership. Initiatives: New membership support, partnering with third party organizations, and partnerships with other PLNs.
Media Committee:Purpose: Spread the news about current happenings related to DE PLN members. Produce shareable products to increase visibility and inform outside members about the work done by our members. Initiatives: Curation of blog content, quarterly wrap ups of DE PLN News, and an eBook written by DE PLN. Research Committee:Purpose: Collect, store, and disseminate data related to membership, conferences, and resources shared among/by other committees. Initiatives: Curation membership data and resources, evaluation of tools for districts/schools, and identifying cutting-edge (peer-reviewed) research to inform our practice.
Events Committee - ISTE 2018: Purpose: Develop and implement that actionable plan of attack for the upcoming conference from pre to post.
