2019 Legacy Marching Festival
Initial Registration Form for Participants

Welcome to the 10th Annual Legacy Marching Festival! The Legacy Marching Festival will be hosted at the Adams 12 Five Star School District’s Five Star Stadium in Thornton on Saturday, September 28, 2019. This festival will host up to 26 bands in Preliminary Competition and will host 12 bands for finals competition. This will be a CBA Sanctioned Festival and will follow all CBA rules and guidelines. Preliminary performance seeding will be done by random draws of 3 or 4 based on last year’s state finals score. Finals will run in reverse order by placement.

A unique opportunity with this Festival is a Critique/Clinic with 2 of the judges on the day after the Festival, SUNDAY, September 29, 2019. One Music Judge and one Visual Judge will be retained for Sunday and will both spend a half hour with Directors and staff who sign up and pay for their critique. The clinics will happen at Legacy High School beginning at 9:00 AM and will last until 1:00 PM. There will be a fee of $75 per band if you would like to add this option. Directors and staff will spend one-on-one time with the judges, your video, and will receive commentary concerning your show (If all spots are not filled, we will not be able to offer this option).

The entry fee for the festival will be $375.00 per band and will include a video of your performance.

Registration and any extra fees are non-refundable. Any group submitting after 26 bands will be put on a waiting list.

As this is a CBA sanctioned event, all copyright clearances must be received by the Colorado Bandmasters Association Marching Chairman before your band will be allowed to perform. You no longer need to submit these copyright forms to the Legacy Marching Festival, only the Marching Chairman. Also, because this is a CBA sanctioned event, ALL DIRECTORS participating in this festival MUST BE CURRENT CBA MEMBERS.

Entry Fee $375.00 - This form must be submitted and payment of $375.00 should either be mailed to the Legacy Band Booster address listed above OR the fee may be paid by Credit Card via PayPal (select WHICH you will do below). This fee must be paid by August 23rd, 2019 in order to participate in the Legacy Marching Festival. If payment is not received by August 23rd, your spot will be forfeited, and you will be replaced by a band on the waiting list. *
