NCLD Young Adult Leadership Council: 2019 Application
The purpose of NCLD’s Young Adult Leadership Council is to inform NCLD's programs, serve as spokespeople, and participate in our advocacy agenda. This Council will serve as a representative body of young adults with learning and attention issues who can inform NCLD’s program activities, and serve as spokespersons for the field. The purpose of the Council is in keeping with the disability rights movement motto “Nothing about us, without us.” Council members will serve one two-year term and be eligible to serve a second one-year term. These individuals represent a cross-section of educational and life experience, interest and expertise.
