San Ysidro Health, Neighborhood Healthcare, Health Center Partners SoCal, The San Diego LGBT Community Center, and North County LGBTQ Resource Center are teaming up to encourage folks across the San Diego region to vote in California's Presidential General Election on November 5th!
What is phonebanking? Phonebanking is calling registered voters and asking them whether they are planning to vote. We will be using a browser based software, CallHub, to reach out to folks, so you will be using a laptop and headset provided at one of our sites to conduct outreach. Your phone number will not be used or shared with anyone we reach out to. Additionally, this is nonpartisan voter outreach, meaning we do not endorse candidates and are simply asking folks in our communities whether they plan on casting their vote in the upcoming election.
This special phonebank will be hosted at three separate locations across San Diego at the same time! Stop by The San Diego LGBT Community Center (3909 Centre St, San Diego, CA 92103), North County LGBTQ Resource Center (1919 Apple St, Oceanside, CA 92054), or South Bay Youth Center (1180 3rd Ave c1, Chula Vista, CA 91911) anytime between 5pm and 8pm on Tuesday, October 8th to phonebank and get a free hot meal and refreshments.
Please sign up by Tuesday, October 1st to get registered with our phonebanking system and participate in our amazing efforts to get our communities to vote!
