EOP freshmen planning to attend Binghamton University in the fall are required to attend.
Our EOP Welcome Session and Orientation introduces students and families to the EOP Summer Program/BEP. These meetings are held in-person, at SUNY Binghamton. The Welcome Session and Orientation meeting will give you all the details to access this extremely successful program, including access to financial aid information, a description of EOP services as well as the 'nuts and bolts' of the BEP summer program.
BEP is FREE OF CHARGE to you and provides you with college coursework, general education attributes, and credit toward your Binghamton degree! But, you cannot have any conflicting obligations and must reside on campus in Binghamton for the duration of the program.
At the EOP Welcome Session and Orientation, we want students and families to get a good idea of what it is like attending Binghamton University and how to benefit from all of the academic supports, academic advising and financial aid awards that are offered to EOP students at Binghamton. There will also be plenty of opportunities for your questions. Students have been assigned their EOP Academic Counselors and will be able to meet them at the EOP Welcome Session and Orientation.
Students will also:
- Meet the Binghamton EOP Team
- Hear exactly what EOP offers to its students
- Complete and Upload/Submit EOP Summer Forms
- Complete and Upload Binghamton University Medical Forms
- Complete a Math Assessment *no calculators necessary
- Tour the campus
YOU MUST ATTEND one of the June 1st or June 15th from 1:00 pm to 5:30pm
Again, there is NO CHARGE for the EOP Welcome Session and Orientation.
We are offering a charter bus ride to and from Binghamton.
We welcome at least one parent per student in attendance, even if you provide your own transportation.
This is the ONLY orientation EOP students should attend. DO NOT sign up for a university wide orientation.

The FREE bus is full to cpacity.
Students who need transportation will need to search for a bus that stops at the Binghamton Transportion Center in Binghamton NY.
