Our guest speaker, Anna-Marie Fergusson will share her ideas and adventures with developing more meaningful learning tasks for sampling. Using the “Apple orchard” exemplar task, She will present some guidelines for “renovating” existing tasks and introduce some new opportunities for teaching sample-to-population inference in the context of modern data and associated technologies
