Group Development Fund Application 2019/20
2018/19 academic year marked the introduction of a brand new funding stream for all of our ratified groups (not inclusive of groups ratified within their first year) to access extra financial support to develop their offer based on a competitive application process. This year we are continuing this and looking to support even more groups! With set criteria aligning with our strategic plan entitled ‘What’s Next?’ 2, simple eligibility outlining what we will and won’t support, as well as some guideline factors. In total, we have £3,000 to continually support groups throughout the year!

Fill out this document in as much detail as you can, we are big fans of information! Include all relevant costs, time frames, how this will support your group, why your members will benefit and everything to fit in the criteria! Just a friendly note, all projects must align to one of our RHSU objectives so make sure you give them a read. We have set several deadlines for funding applications:

15th November
7th February
8th May

This form will automatically be sent to the Student Opportunities team and you will receive a receipt upon collection. We aim to assess applications a week after the deadline and will let groups know promptly.

Please note, successful funding can only be used for the project in question and will be subject to withdrawal if the project does no longer go ahead/is fit for purpose.

Please note applications are either up to £100 or £101-£300. Anything over this, is an exceptional application request and notification with full justifications of proposal, must be emailed to either vpsports@su.rhul.ac.uk or vpsocieties@su.rhul.ac.uk respectively. This should be sent with plenty of advance notice to give opportunity for questions.
