My name is Julia Heinonen, I am 24 years old and I am studying for a Master's degree in Strategic Business Development at the University of Vaasa. I am currently working on my Master's Thesis, and the topic of my research is about educated immigrant women's integration to the labor market in Finland. For my research I would like to do a comparing study between employed and unemployed immigrant women.

Through my research I would like to promote educated immigrant women's employment and show to companies how much valuable career capital and perspective immigrant women from different cultures would bring to them. The topic of my thesis may feel challenging, but I hope it could  make a change in the current employment situation of immigrant women and also improve their access to the Finnish labor market.

I would like to interview eight educated immigrant women with different backgrounds and life situations, including four employed and four unemployed people. To make the research as reliable and valuable as possible, I would like for you to answer the next few questions to find out a little bit about you and through that I will choose the interviewees for this research.
