Parent: Submit an App to be considered for adding to the Secondary LISD Unapproved App List
The current Secondary LISD Unapproved App List can be found here: https://goo.gl/Xg5xb1.

The purpose of this list is to address the apps that cause the largest problems, such as cyberbullying, open chat, inappropriate use, etc. This does not replace the need for parent education, teacher/staff monitoring, the use of parental restrictions, or digital citizenship education.

LISD has restrictions in place that prevent downloading any 17+ apps on district iPads. Since all 17+ apps are blocked from downloading on district iPads, these apps are not added to the LISD Unapproved App List shown below.

For example: "Clash of Clans" is on the list not because it's a game, but because of the widespread negative impact of the open chat feature between students.

Although there are many factors that will impact the processing of this request, our goal is to make monthly updates. In general, submissions entered in by the 10th of each month will be processed by the 15th of each month.
