Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies, of the University of Nairobi, in partnership with African Development Bank and Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, is organizing the African Symposium on Sustainability Science to be held on March 4, 2019 at the University of Nairobi Towers, Chandaria Auditorium. The main objective of this symposium is to promote sustainability Education and Science in Africa. The symposium will bring together a wide range of participants both local and international including participants from Japan and the Education for Sustainable Development in Africa (ESDA) community. This symposium will provide a platform to exchange and share sustainability knowledge and experiences among academia and practitioners and also offer an opportunity for relevant stakeholders to discuss and share experiences on how sustainability science, education and research can help create solutions to Africa’s sustainability challenges.
