R-CAR Fellowship to attend a data journalism bootcamp: Open to U.S.-based professional journalists who work outside of a metro area (with a core urban population of 50,000 or more) for a newspaper with less than a circulation of 40,000, a television station outside of the top 100 Nielsen markets, or a radio or online news organization with a record of covering rural areas. Students are not eligible.

Ottaway Fellowship to attend a data journalism bootcamp: Journalists and educators of color are eligible. Students are not eligible.

Knight TV Data Fellowship to attend a data journalism bootcamp *AND* the NICAR Conference: Open to U.S.-based TV professional journalists from local TV newsrooms. The recipient must commit to not only attending a five-day boot camp, but also to attending the annual NICAR conference. Students are not eligible.

Total Newsroom Training Program Fellowship to attend a data journalism bootcamp: Anyone who has completed two days of IRE's Total Newsroom Training program may apply. More than one employee from the same newsroom may apply.

Diversity Fellowship to attend the NICAR *OR* IRE Conference: Journalists and educators of color are eligible.

Jennifer Leonard Scholarships to attend the NICAR *OR* IRE Conference: Open to women of modest means who are either college journalism students or early-career professional journalists (three or fewer years of post-college work experience). Journalists/students of color are encouraged to apply.

James Richard Bennett Scholarships to attend the IRE Conference: Open to journalism students in Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Louisiana.

David Dietz Fellowship to attend the IRE Conference: Open to journalists and freelancers with fewer than 10 years of professional experience and a demonstrated interest in financial investigative journalism, and who have a financial need for assistance. Students are not eligible.

Napoli Management Group TV Scholarship to attend the IRE Conference: Open to early-career (three years or fewer of post-college work experience) TV journalists interested in investigative reporting. Students are not eligible.

Godfrey Wells Stancill Fellowship to attend the IRE Conference: Open to U.S.-based journalists working for a newspaper with a Sunday circulation of under 50,000. Students are not eligible.

Robert Greene Scholarship to attend the IRE Conference: Open to early-career professional journalists (three years or fewer of post-college work experience). Students are not eligible.

Eric B. Sager Scholarship to attend the IRE Conference: Open to U.S.-based journalists and independent journalists. Journalists from trade publications and small outlets are encouraged to apply. Students are not eligible.

Student Diversity Fellowship to attend the IRE or NICAR conferences: Journalism students of color are eligible.

Python Bootcamp Scholarship to attend the Python Bootcamp: Open to any journalist, educator or student.

R Bootcamp Scholarship to attend the R Bootcamp: Open to any journalist, educator or student.

Educator of Color Scholarship to attend an Educator Bootcamp: Open to Educators of color teaching, or interested in teaching, data journalism within one’s curriculum.

Gary Marx Scholarship to attend the IRE conference: U.S.-based college journalism students and early-career journalists (three years post-college graduation). Preference will be given to applicants from Illinois.
