Product and Operations intern

Job Summary:

You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the founding team. You will handle a wide range of administrative, product, organizational, and operational responsibilities to support the team in driving social impact, operational excellence, and achieving organizational goals.


Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports, presentations, and documents for decision-making.

2. Act as a liaison between the Team and researchers in public health, facilitating communication and fostering collaborative research programs.

3.  Identify platform issues to enhance efficiency, optimize performance, and user experience.

4. Collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure effective coordination and communication of operational activities and projects.

5. Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of operational policies, procedures, and initiatives regarding team and product, as applicable.

6. Lead product management activities


Requirements:

  1. Interested in public health, data, product development, and food justice

  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software and tools (i.e. Google Workspace Suite) 

  4. Strong problem-solving abilities.

  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.

  6. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  7. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.

  8. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and able to work effectively under pressure.
