TEDxDePaulUniversity 2019 Speaker Application
Thank you for your interest in being a part of TEDxDePaulUniversity 2019. At this time, we are accepting applications from the DePaul community -- faculty, staff, students and alumni -- until Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. (CT).

When filling out the application, keep in mind that we aren't merely looking for good speakers and performers; we're looking for "ideas worth spreading." TEDx talks and performances should be ideas that change perceptions, connect with emotions, are widely relatable and conveyed in 18 minutes or less. Submissions should also consider this year's theme "Fast Forward." Two words that invite you to envision, reframe and confront the ideas of tomorrow. Need inspiration? Explore TED's vast video library at TED.com or past TEDxDePaulUniversity talks on our website, which have more than 250,000 YouTube views.

The TEDx platform is a great way to share your innovative ideas with the world. The most memorable talks take time and commitment to sharpen, and we want to help you deliver the best talk possible. By filling out this application, you agree to work with our speaker coaches, attend at least two rehearsals and to be present for the duration of the event on April 12.

Next steps: After you fill out this form*, it will be submitted to the selection committee. You will be notified through the contact information you provide below on or before Dec. 20 if your talk has been accepted. To learn more about TEDxDePaulUniversity, visit https://tedxdepauluniversity.com/.

*Only one entry per person will be accepted. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
