Schools may register any number of teams in Division B and C.
Schools may only enter a maximum of 2 teams in each Division to compete in the HSSO Regional Tournaments to compete for medals and advancement to the State Finals. However, teams may enter more than 2 teams at a Regional tournament; any teams beyond the 2nd team are not eligible for awards/medals nor count towards advancement to the State Finals.
Schools that qualify to advance to the State Finals Tournament in each division may only compete with 1 team at the State Finals Tournament.
Returning for the 2025-2026 season, HSSO will be assessing registration fees for all teams that a school registers in each division if registered by Oct 31, 2025.

*2nd team registration fee: $150
*Additional team registrations: $75/each
NOTE:
(1) The League system has been discontinued for the 2025-2026 season and beyond. All teams will be competing with each other at Invitational, Regional, and State Tournaments.
(2) The number of teams registered by a school at any invitational cannot exceed the amount the teams registered with HSSO (and subsequently National Science Olympiad); a team cannot exceed 15 members at any tournament and the composition of team cannot be changed during the day of the tournament but can be changed for subsequent tournaments.
