To support and deliver our programmes and support club development, Badminton England want to ensure we have a suitably qualified workforce in place. We recognise that there are many skilled Level 1 assistant coaches who work within badminton on a regular basis and would make excellent Level 2 coaches. We also recognise that within the badminton community there are people suited and ready to start their coaching journey by completing the UKCC Level 1 coaching qualification. Our coaching pathway outlines that level 1 assistant coaches can support the delivery of coaching sessions whilst delivering some of the programmes such as No Strings badminton and SmashUp! Level 2 qualified coaches can lead technical and tactical session with clubs as well as deliver some of our programmes such as Essentials and The Racket Pack.
