Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Application
TAB members MUST BE in 8th-12th grade. Please DO NOT apply if you are outside of these requirements.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) helps to curate Teen Unseen Bags, create program ideas for teens, and (hopefully) lead a teen program throughout the School Year and Summer. The Teen Advisory Board members will receive volunteer hours (we will send an official confirmation of those volunteer hours via email.)

We hold regular meetings on the first and third Fridays of each month. The first meetings of the month are virtual; where we'll make decisions for the Teen Unseen Bags. The second meetings are in person at either South Fayette Township Library OR Bridgevill Public Library for program planning and projects. We will send out email reminders and agendas to everyone.

TAB MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
(Please talk to either Ms. Alicia (SFTL) or Mr. Jake (BPL) if you have any questions or concerns about meeting the below requirements PRIOR to submitting your application. You may contact us using the TAB email: bgsfteenvolunteers@gmail.com) 
  • TAB members must be in grades 8th-12th (or entering these grades in the fall when applying in summer)
  • TAB members are REQUIRED to attended at least 2 TAB led programs during the school year and 1 in the summer to keep their membership active.
  • TAB members MUST attend at least 2 IN PERSON meetings during the school year in order to keep their memebership active. 
  • TAB members MUST attend at leat 50% of ALL standard TAB meetings during the school year to keep their membership active. (This refers to meetings that take place on the 1st and 3rd Friday's of every month. Additional meetings may be scheduled to prepare for special events, etc. Not attending additional last minute meetings will not negetaviely effect your membership)
  • TAB members are required to submit new applications each fall so that we know you are interested in continuing your membership.
