Group Tours

Thanks for your interest in scheduling an in-person group visit with Columbia Gorge Community College! The Student Outreach and Recruitment team provides general information and tours to student groups about CGCC. Group visits are for high school groups that are coordinated/chaperoned by an official staff member from that school. 

We ask that you limit the number of participants to no more than 24 students and require each group to have 1 chaperone per 12 students.  To provide you with the best possible visit, we request at least 21 days to make arrangements.

Group visits are provided Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m and Fridays from 8:30am-12:30pm during the year, excluding university holidays. 

Please read through this section to ensure that your group has the best possible experience.

In-Person Group Visit Policies & Expectations:

  • The CGCC will welcome any groups with high school students.

  • Chaperones must be present at all times during the tour and presentation and are responsible for monitoring the behavior of the students.

  • Groups must have no less than 1 chaperone for every 12 students.

  • Please set expectations with students prior to your visit. Students should be respectful and we reserve the right to end a tour at any point due to inappropriate behavior.

  • During presentations and the tour, students should have all electronic devices silenced and put away, and be as present as possible.

  • Visits are more beneficial if the group comes prepared with questions!

  • Visit itineraries are contingent upon the availability of students, staff, campus partners, and classroom space.

  • This form gives you the opportunity below to request tours or presentations with other campus departments. The SOAR Team will work with campus partners to schedule your request if possible.

  • You must notify the SOAR Team with any changes to your visit at least 48 hours in advance. Please note: any changes in number of people attending, as well as times of start or end, may affect presentations and tours offered.

  • If a student wishes to film during the visit, it must be for educational purposes and pre-approved.
