Conduct a speed test connected direct via cable to the NBN NTD (bypass the router). Most RSP's offer an internal speed test server, it is best to use the speed test from your RSP. If your RSP does not have a speed test use this one: www.beta.speedtest.net The speed test tool should be able to find the optimal server however it is always best to find a server hosted by your provider in your closest capital city. To change the speed test server, click change server and search the name of your provider, which will be listed next to the to the circle icon with the outline of a person inside. If you cannot find the name of your provider under the change server search, select a server belonging to Telstra in your closest capital city. The test results will display on the screen, record your results. Do this three times. Type the medium (middle) speed into the answer box below. We require 3 seperate speed test results, these results should be from different times of the day. Do the speed tests in peak times (when it's busy) and one in off peak times. Enter the speed results in this format 5.01Mbps DOWN, 1.4 Mbps UP
