Bandaging - the principles of bandaging will be discussed before students have a go at placing a basic bandage on a dog model

CPR - the principles of CPR will be discussed before students have a go at performing chest compressions on a dog model

Clinical pathology - students will work through a clinical scenario and be guided through an interpretation of basic biochemistry

Clinical Scenarios - students will work through several scenarios focused on different clinical issues in small animal, farm animal and equine contexts

Surgery - the importance of good hand hygiene prior to surgery will be discussed before students have a go at preparing a patient for surgery

Animal Welfare and Ethics - students will explore the basic theories behind animal welfare and ethics
