NYC LOL Tournament Sign Up

Rules
Active members of NYC LOL Meetup Group & NYC League of Legends Facebook group will get priority registration.

Due to time constraints, matches will be single elimination until the quarterfinals, after which they become a best of 3 series.

All roster changes must be submitted by January 15th, 11:59PM. NO LATE ROSTER CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED AND YOUR TEAM WILL FORFEIT.
Accurate elos must be provided for proper seeding.
All teams must be present and ready to play 15 minutes before their scheduled match start time. A late player will be given until 15 minutes after scheduled match start time to arrive. If they fail to do so, their team will forfeit the match.

The tournament will be played on Summoner’s Rift in Tournament Mode.

NOTE: Using Tournament Draft mode means that there will be a pause option. If you need to pause, ask the other team if they are ready before unpausing.

Any unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a verbal warning. Any unsportsmanlike behavior after this point will result in a team’s immediate disqualification, and a forfeiting of any and all claim to prizes.

UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR IS DEFINED AS:
Any all chat during games beyond the phrases “gl, gl hf, gg, & good game.” Sarcastic usage of these phrases also qualifies.
Trash talking players and teams in public channels (i.e. the NYC chat room and NYC League of Legends Facebook group).
Unnecessary usage of pause, and unpausing before the other team is ready. Delaying the game unnecessarily also qualifies as such.
Ghosting the stream and/or spectating the games to gain an unfair advantage.
Having any other person besides a player in voice chat with a team during a match.

Players may only be registered as a player and/or substitute for one team. Also, a player may not play for one team, lose and be eliminated, and then substitute for another team. All rosters are final.

Teams must screencap their post-game lobby screen and submit them to the tournament organizers within fifteen minutes of the end of the match. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification.
