Reading Group: Augustine's City of God

Several Mt. Olive members are getting together weekly for the month of June to read and discuss Augustine's great work, The City of God. We'll keep the length of each meeting to about an hour. We'll use the time to identify and discuss the main point(s) Augustine was making in the section, consider together any important passages that a member of the group identified, ask questions, and (as we're able and time permits) apply Augustine's insights to our own day. Come to as many or as few sessions as you like, and read as much or as little of the books as you are able.

The first meeting will take place on Saturday, June 7th at 9:00 AM in the Mt. Olive Youth Room. We can always go somewhere else, but that room has comfy chairs. We can figure out other potential meeting locations at the first session.
