Hello!
Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences with the cooperation of Social Cooperative of Cyclades as receiving Organisation, we organize a Minor Project for Social Emotional Learning-SEL, in Europe.
The internship is aimed at investigating and finding ways to improve Social Emotional Learning-SEL, in Europe.
For this internship, four student from the University of Rotterdam with the supervision of lecturers L. F. J. Martijn (Rens), and the M.A. Koning (Mirjam), coordinators of the minor Beyond Borders (Minor+ Beyond Borders - Hogeschool Rotterdam), collaborating with Miltos Sakellariou, MSc Counseling Psychology, President of the Social Cooperative of Cyclades-ALTERA VITA, cooperate for the formation of the EN-SEL- European Network for Social Emotional Learning.
ENSEL network will be conceived as an “umbrella organization”, providing members with a platform and framework to join forces, exchange good practices and materials, and thus develop common actions to motivate all parties involved in Life Skills including both intrapersonal and interpersonal qualities. Intrapersonal life skills include self-awareness, self-control, self-esteem, self-respect and self-reflection. Interpersonal life skills include effective communication, cooperation, teamwork and problem-solving abilities, respect for similarities and differences, appreciation, empathy, trust and love.ENSEL (European Network for Social Emotional learning) aims to implement life skills in a holistic way, helping young people exercise their fundamental rights in the home, school, class and community.
To do so we will use the method of Design Thinking which has tools to help us find a solution to a complicated problem and create a prototype. This prototype has been presented at the ENSA annual assembly, 15th of November in Venice, and after a proposal of Annalisa Bisson, Legal Representative of ENSA network - Director of International Relations, and the acceptance of the Members, was created a new working group for promoting well-being and implementing Social Emotional Learning in Europe.
The questionnaire below will help us identify the next steps for ENSA's new Working Group on Wellbeing and Social-Emotional Learning.
The data we‘ll retrieve, will be used under the legislation of GDPR and will not under any other circumstances be shared.
