Waverley Amateur Radio Society Scholarship Application
The club is now able to offer a limited number of scholarships each valued at up to $250 to enable young Australian citizens under 25 not in full-time employment to obtain their first licence and be supplied with a radio at no cost. Benefits include a free Foundation Licence course at Rose Bay, Licence Application fee, 1st year’s licence paid, VHF/UHF handheld and free 1st-year membership of our society.

Funding has been provided by the sale of radio equipment from the estate of the late Colin Marks, VK2LV. and a generous donation from the Estate of the Late Tom E. King VK2ATJ.
After you fill in this Application, it will be sent to the Scholarship Committee who will decide your eligibility. This may take up to four weeks, but often less.
