Mobilise Australia COVID-19 Onboarding
Thank you for your interest in the Mobilise Aus COV19 movement!

First here is a little bit about us:

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which, since first identified in Wuhan province, China in January 2020, has quickly spread globally. The COVID-19 pandemic has and will continue to significantly impact the global population and will continue to do so into the immediate future.

In response to this pandemic we have formed as an online community to support initiatives that seek to overcome challenges posed by the virus and address the flow-on impacts to the Australian community.

Our network is a place for health professionals, engineers, government and everyday Australians to collectively identify problems and develop solutions.

Armed with information from front-line workers, we have taken immediate action. We are quickly trying to design and arrange the production of devices to move life-saving air, extend existing tools, or organise volunteers on the ground to bolster medical workers. The need is critical.

Other challenges are facing our community besides those faced in the health care system. This could include the need for mental health support, financial support, moral support, lack of food, basic sanitary items, and much more. We hope to curate a diverse community able to aid in as many of these challenges as possible!

We can either wait and watch the suffering and terrible labours of others, or we can try to act.
