Physically Isolated Volunteer Opportunities
We know many of our regular volunteers are currently wary of coming to volunteer events where there may be risks of COVID-19.

We are working on ways that such supporters can still volunteer with Feeding Our Kids, but in an environment where they would not be exposed to others. We have two types of opportunities:

1) Volunteer from home by making phone calls, sending emails, participating in online meetings, helping with grant applications, and/or reviewing and editing documentation.   This could include fundraising, recruiting volunteers, helping with community outreach, or helping with administrative tasks.

2) Scheduling a day and time where you could come and help at the church by yourself (or as a couple or household).  Our Executive Director Matt will let you in the building and give you instructions, but otherwise, you (and anyone you bring with you) will be alone to work in the room, while Matt will be in the office if you need anything.  Tasks can include counting food inventory, cleaning, sorting donations, or packing bags.

The second option would also be good if you'd like to schedule a special day and time for your family, especially if you have children younger than middle school age.
