Emergency Health Grant for Artists 2019 Application
Women’s Center for Creative Work (WCCW) is excited to announce the fourth year of our Emergency Health Grant for Artists initiative! Thanks to a generous anonymous donation and the WHH Foundation, we’re excited to announce that $65,000 in grant money is available to eligible artists of all fields with a medical, mental health, or dental emergency or an illness-related financial need. This year we are excited to facilitate the grant for a second time with our community partners Mujeres de Maiz, Sustainable Little Tokyo, and artist and producer Cori Consuelo, and Physician Assistant Kayla McLaughlin, MPAS.

This granting opportunity fosters our ongoing goal of providing holistic support for artists and makers through feminist principles. It seeks to create a conversation around the connections between gender, race, sexuality, class, privilege, access to resources, and health.
