GRACE HOME EDUCATORS FELLOWSHIP, INC. STATMENTS
STATEMENT OF FAITH
FATIH:
1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, divinely preserved word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16)
2. We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (2 Cor. 13:14)
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His imminent return in power and glory. (Luke 1:31-35; Isa. 53; Luke 24; Acts 1:11, Rev. 19:11-31)
4. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone can be saved. (Romans 3,4, &5)
5. We believe that salvation is the free gift of God brought to the sinner by grace and received by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-11)
6. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict mankind; indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. (Acts 1:18)

STATEMENT OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY
Marriage and Family:
1. We believe marriage brings one man and one woman together as husband and wife to be a father and mother to any children their union produces. (Genesis 2:24, 1 Corinthians 7:2-4)
2. We believe and affirm the biblical model of family to be defined as one man and one woman who are legally married and any biological, adopted, foster or step children they may have.(Genesis 1:26-28, James 1:27).
3. We believe that the family is designed and ordained by God as the basic spiritual, social and governing unit that was created to bring glory to God and reveal His glory throughout the world. (Matthew 28:19-20, Malachi 2:15 and Isaiah 61:1)
4. We believe the family is the primary provider of spiritual training, character formation and biblical discipleship for children within that family. (Deuteronomy 6:7-9, Ephesians 6:1-4, Colossians 3:18-21 & Psalm 112: 1-2.)

STATEMENT OF EDUCATION
Education:
1. We believe that God has given parents a clear biblical mandate to educate their own children. (Deuteronomy 4:1-9 and 6:125). We define Parent Directed Home Education as that in which parents primarily lead, evaluate, administer, direct, modify, supervise and ultimately determine the content and instructional methods.
2. We support the rights of parents to allow another individual to teach their children in a home environment where the final authority in determining the education rests solely with the parents
3. Although we believe Parent Directed Home Education to be the standard, we are sensitive to the specific needs and limitations that families face and will support education that esteems biblical principles and develops moral character within the framework of a Christian worldview.
4. We believe that all education brings one to a greater understanding and revelation of God or moves one further away from the understanding and revelation of God. We believe that education is not neutral, and that all education is informed by one's world view, since one’s view of the world and life is inevitably involved in the discovery of truth set forth by God through His creation. (Psalm 86:11, Proverbs 2:1-8 and 3:1-2, with 6:20-23 and Matthew 28:18-20, John 8:32, John 17:17, 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 John 1:6).
AGREEMENT
I/We, the undersigned, do hereby affirm that I/we agree with the above Statement of Faith, Statement of Family, and Statement of Education and I/We will try our best to uphold the principles therein this
