New Lingua Proposal


Project Lingua amplifies Global Voices stories in languages other than English with the help of volunteer translators. It opens the line of communication with non-English speaking bloggers and readers of Global Voices by translating content into other languages. Currently, we have Lingua sites in the following languages:

Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Aymara, Bangla, Bulgarian, Burmese, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Esperanto, Farsi, Filipino, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Odia, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Kurdish, Macedonian, Malagasy, Odia, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tetun, Turkish, Urdu.
