Sunrise Drive Chinese Immersion Information Meeting 
Thank you for showing an interest in Catalina Foothills School District's (CFSD) Chinese Immersion Information Meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 6:00 PM. We are looking forward to sharing the exciting and enriching experiences for your Kindergarten through Grade 5 students.  

It is important for parents to understand that the CFSD Chinese Immersion Program is a one-way immersion model. In other words, it is designed for English-proficient students to acquire Chinese. Students who wish to enter the immersion program in 2nd through 5th grades will need to demonstrate a level of Chinese (Mandarin) language proficiency similar to other students at that grade level who have been in the program.

During the informational meeting, you will learn more about the CFSD immersion program. We will focus on the academic content and what a typical day looks like for our immersion students.
