Students and community members from Plainfield Schools are invited to participate in the Lift Every Voice Community Sing. Participants will learn about the history of the Black National Anthem Lift Every Voice and Sing by James Weldon Johnson and John Rosamond Johnson.
Participants will also learn how to sing Lift Every Voice and then perform at the PSD 202 Black History Month Showcase on Friday, February 23rd at 6:30pm

Location: Plainfield North High School Choir Room
Performance Date: Friday, February 23rd 2024
Performance Time: 6:30pm
Location: Plainfield South High School
Eligibility: PSD 202 6th-12th graders, parents/guardians of those students, or any PSD 202 staff member. All are welcome regardless of race, ethnicity, or musical ability!
