Thank you for your interest in joining the Policies and Practices Committee (PPC)! We're so excited to have you!
This committee aims to help improve CAACURH policy by reviewing language, drafting legislation updates, and making sure our governing documents stay clear, consistent, and inclusive.
You don’t need prior experience, as there are roles for every level of time and comfort. You may help with anything from quick reviews and small editing tasks to drafting sections and leading a project team.
PPC uses an open-project structure, so you can plug into work that matches your interests (writing, research, formatting, or feedback) and get support through project leads and regular committee meetings. If you’re interested, tell us what kinds of tasks you enjoy, how much time you can commit, and whether you’d like to be a project member, propose ideas, or potentially lead a project!
We also love feedback on how the committee can be better run so it fits your needs.
This committee is run by the Central Atlantic Associate Director for Administration and Finance (ADAF), Noah Medrano. You may reach him at ca_adaf@nacurh.org anytime
